How many times can you subtract 10 from 26?

"How many times can you subtract 10 from 26?" is a tricky question. We think that there are three different answers to this question.

Answer 1: Once
It is once, because after you subtract 10 from 26 once, you are left with 16. Thus, you cannot subtract 10 again from 26.

Answer 2: 2.6 times
2.6 times, because 26 divided by 10 is 2.6. After you subtract 10, 2.6 times from 26, then there is nothing left to subtract from.

Answer 3: Infinite
There is nothing that says you can't keep subtracting 10 from 26 indefinitely. Just because you will end up with negative numbers doesn't mean you have to stop subtracting!
