What is 9 times greater than 15?

135 is greater than 9 x 15.

But that is not true. 135 is not greater than 9 x 15. It is the same!

(9 + 1) x 15 = 150

But if that is the case, why not simply say "What is 10 times 15?" instead of saying "times greater than?"
