Let's assume the answer = 252 (since 21 x 12 = 252). Then shouldn't this statement be true?:

252 is greater than 21 x 12.

But that is not true. 252 is not greater than 21 x 12. It is the same!

To make it greater, we could make make a formula like (a+1)b where a=21 and b=12 to get this answer:

(21 + 1) x 12 = 264

But if that is the case, why not simply say "What is 22 times 12?" instead of saying "times greater than?"
